If one wanted one could call this a Darkthrone clone and be completely right, but to dismiss it as being on that basis would be a mistake, because unlike so many clones He manages to recreate the feel, rather then just presenting a bad copy. But it is a copy, the same type of vocals, the same type of riffs, the same type of drums (although performed by a drum computer), and the same type of production. In a sense this could be a Darkthrone album, and had it been released with a Darkthrone logo instead of a Abyssic Hate logo, I would suspect very few would be the wiser, so it is a clone but a good one at that.
