Miasma
Love Songs
[Lethal]

Buying this could make you feel cheated (although I do not think it is easy to come by these days?), not because Miasma do a bad job, but I mean one new song, one hmmm what would one call it? weird track and one live song with a song from their debut album, which I believe was called Changes. The opening track is the new track, "Love Song (To A Lost Little Girl)" and that starts out with one of more sinister sounding riffs I've come across, the sensation of darkness that hurls through you when listening to that riff is unbelievable, although it after the first riff turns just a little bit more generic, it is still has a special sound and feel to it, and the song generally manages to create a brilliant sense of an obscure sinister force of chaos and hate. But after that we find a track with a lot of screaming, talking and I dunno what, pretty worthless I'd say. Then there is the live version of the song "Morbid Knocking", sounds great enough, it isn't enough to validate this mCD's existence, nor is that weird track and although the new track is quite good, it to is not enough to make anyone want to buy this, if they actually knew what was on...
