Madd Hunter
Silence of the Lamb
[Independent]

In 1999 CE there's finally a follow-up for MADD HUNTER. Not really a lot has changed apart from the guest drummer (Chuck Fitzgerald, ex SACRED REICH this time) so everyone who liked the first CD can run for this now. All others just need to listen to the opener "Raiders from the North" in which Phil easily dismisses 8 years of so-called Viking Metal... This is the legal follow-up to MAIDENS "Invaders". Other great tracks (like "To Arms against the Beast" or "Procession of the Lash") and three cover songs lead up to the culmination of Phil's song writing so far, the epic "Jerusalem". This track is just beyond words... I get goose bumps every time I listen to this... Such passion, such power.... This album only leaves me with one simple question, why does Phil not get picked up by a label like NUCLEAR BLAST or MASSACRE !? MADD HUNTER has all trademarks of a classic Metal act and who misses out on them, well, I already said it above....
