SACRED STEEL more and more moves into a similar position than MERCYFUL FATE had in the 80s. Everybody knows them and people either love or hate them very much. And in both cases the division is over the vocals. I for my case love Gerritt's vocals because they have identity. This CD is a 45 minutes orgasm of pure fucking Steel and there's not a weak note from the starting scream to the very end. The fact that their brilliant cover version of OMENs "Battle Cry" is NOT the best track on the album speaks volumes... This album only leaves me with one question... How in Hell are they going to top this ??????
