A limited (500 copies) MCD from French Kristallnacht. My only previous experience with this band is their song "A strife... a victory" which was present on the "The night and the fog" sampler. This song proved musical talent, but was somewhat ruined by the horrible vocals which sounded similar to what I imagine Donald Duck doing a Burzum impersonation would sound like. This song is also found on this MCD in a rerecorded version. Thankfully the vocals are much better on this release thus drastically increasing the general quality of the music.

Kristallnacht play some kind of fast, raw black metal with quite a lot of keyboards. I rarely enjoy black metal in which the synth dominates the direction of the music as it does in several parts of the songs, but Kristallnacht pull this off quite good. One band that comes to mind when listening to this release is Godkiller, also from France, especially their "Rebirth of the middle ages" MCD.

"Warspirit" contains four songs, all of which are good. Since the raids that took place in Germany I am not sure if this is still possible to obtain, but try contacting Darker Than Black or Ancestral Research Records for details.
