Why Akhenaton didn't release this under the Judas Iscariot moniker is initially not very clear. But as I listened, I got the feeling that these tunes were somewhat thrashier than Judas Iscariot. Do not get me wrong, this is not JI gone retro, but the chord choices and compositional ideas are less "epic" than normal JI fare - giving it a more thrashy feel. As a disclaimer, some songs could definitely go on a JI disc, but one can pick up the slight compositional differences. If you are a fan of Akhenaton's work then definitely pick this up.
