Kreator
Terrible Certainty
[Futurist]

I like this CD. I know that a lot of people say they sold out with this one as they started to concentrate on a more technical approach to their music but this was still a quality release from Mille and the boys. I was prepared for the slight change by having the "Behind The Mirror" single (courtesy of the Peddler, ah the good ol'days...). It's funny how by gaining proficiency in playing the band gets perceived on turning their backs on their loyal fans. Wasn't the case though as at times they were even faster and there were some amazing thrash metal songs combining speed and power (i.e 'Storming With Menace', 'Toxic Trace' and 'One Of Us'). Mind you this isn't their best release, a toss up between "Pleasure To Kill" or "The Flag Of Hate" EP. This CD marked the debut of a second guitarist Tritze. Reminds me of the time when me and a couple of friends of mine went to see them with D.R.I. During a lull in Kreator's set, tech problems methinks, my friend yells TRITZE!!! which got a big laugh(had to have been there I guess), 'twas a hoot.
