Emperor
Live In Frostland
[BM (Bootleg)]

Yeah, I guess this is another typical, laughable bootleg. I heard it was from Mexico as well, what a surprise! The packaging is a little bit better this time around though, and there's some studio/rehearsal tracks added onto the end as a "bonus". Twelve tracks of Emperor, nine of these a concert in Finland right before the release of "Anthems…".

Some of the tracks come off well, despite the fact that this was recorded from the crowd, and that most of the Fins NEVER stop talking out of their rears. I remember a live tape that floated around for awhile that featured the band live in London ('95 or so). Now THAT concert was great, since the production was clear, and the rather low-fi keyboards made the music sound…different. This is average.

"Witches Sabbath" and "Ancient Queen" can also be found on the demo bootleg (I think that they're from the "Emperor" session), and "The Usurper" (a surprisingly good Frost cover found of the Frost/Bathory bootleg) are the other goodies.
