FINALLY a band realizes that the sound of a woman being tortured will get the listener's attention. I tossed this into my stereo, turned away, and felt the hair on my neck raise as soon as she started to beg for her life. Incredible. The synth in the background only adds to the sheer nastiness of the intro.

Not only is the intro wonderfully disturbed, but the entire mCD follows up with black metal that is, well, dirty. It's just not metal for the sake of metal - you immediately realize that there's conviction here since everything leaves an impression. Exceptionally dark riffs, drums that nicely fit the music, and possessed vocals! You'd think they change vocalists every minute because of the sheer variety! And not since the "The Dark War Has Begun" LP have I heard such insane laughter. This is brilliant, evil stuff…
