Trelldom
Til Evighet…
[Head Not Found]

While today, NS black metal is the biggest metal trend since Swedish death metal, it should be noted that Trelldom were amongst the first to be considered as such. I still have their "Disappearing of the Burning Moon" demo (great demo!) with a hand-written linear note from Gaahl signed with a swastika. This album harks back to the old days of black metal: simple packaging, "fuck off" linear notes, and raw, cold sounding black metal.

Quite a few of the demo tracks are reproduced here, and as such, you can't go wrong with this album. Gaahl's tortured vocals are of course unique and add variation to the music. It's not innovative, but "Til Evighet…" is still a quality Darkthrone influenced album, for fans of the old Norwegian style.
