The Besungeners play grim black metal with a drummer who loves his cymbals. I kid the drummer, but he is a good drummer - possibly the most talented member of the band. Not that the others suck, its just that the drummer is fairly inventive with fills and stuff and the guitarists and vocalists play pretty much standard black metal. Its not bad black metal - pretty good actually, its just nothing new in a sea of nothing-new-ness. Production is a bit thin, but clean and clear.
