Take the music of early BATHORY, early ROOT, TORMENTOR (hun) and mix them together. Then add heaps of keyboards, effects, and spoken passages. This CD is the result!! NASTROND have created something different than their previous works, but it's still excellent music!! I can imagine this being played in a ritual chamber. Draugr's screams sound quite muffled but still fit well with the rest of the CD. The guitar sound is great and a bit fuzzy, but the bass is distorted (this CD's only downfall!). Drum production is much better this time around, as the snare doesn't fade in-&-out like on "Toteslaut". The best track is probably "The Red Force Of The Trapezoid", one piece sounds like it's almost directly from ROOT's "Zjeveni" LP with the spoken passage!! Overall one of the 3 best black metal CDs released in 1997!!!! DO NOT OVERLOOK!!!
