This second album of UNPURE might be second part of Napalm Records’ plan to bomb the world into oblivion with boredom – the first part was KOROVA’s first album. This isn’t ”art black metal”, this is ”old-school black metal” that takes a few riffs from BATHORY, few from CELTIC FROST, inserts some ”hilarious” lyrics about fucking goats, drinks a bit too much beer and wanders very far away from everything that might have been considered evil in those two afore mentioned classic bands.

The sound is also too clinical for these (please find me something from Sweden except for BATHORY that doesn’t have too clinical sound?) riffs and thrashy material, especially the drums do not sound brutal at all.

It might be ”nice” if I could recommend this to the thrashers and old-school-fanatics out there, but I was actually drinking beer while listening to this and it didn’t ”catch” me, so is it really true old-school?
