This first album by Polish white power black metallists VELES was also released
as cassette version by Witalis’ own label Dead Christ Commune, with different
cover and texts.
What we have here is True Polish Pagan Black Metal, like GRAVELAND plays it. This is quite close to GRAVELAND, ”Carpathian Wolves” era and contains primal power and essence of heathen aryan European barbarism. To those who do not know GRAVELAND, it is raw black metal with folkish interludes and combines jew-burning with the romanticism of slavic homelands’ forests and occultic satanism. The production on this album is not extremely noisy, so it ends up being a rather harmonious sounding work, in comparison to some of the more extreme Polish albums and especially cassettes.
