I've yet to hear this band, despite being around for quite some time now, so I'll be unable to compare this to their previous LPs. "Darken…" is a five track mCD running close to the half-hour mark, and can be fairly easily categorized as Brazilian black metal. Demise seems to have picked up a few other older Brazilian bands like Mystifier (still a group I despise), as well as newer ones like Mysteriis, and the awful Unholy Flames. Amen Corner are white though, if you can't stand supporting monkey metal like me...

If you'd appreciate a musically similar, yet far less inciting version of Murder Rape, but with hysterical vocals, then you'll probably appreciate this. It doesn't quite contain the unique darker characteristics of Murder Rape though - did another LARM! reviewer mention that this style can bring to mind images of a poor man's Rotting Christ? I wouldn't disagree here...
