Cryogenic
Celephais
[Solistitium]

Unoriginal and worthless keyboards drenched black metal - "Celephais" is a clear waste of time and energy (or the lack of it put into making this disc). You know you're not in for anything original as soon as they start ripping off the intro from 'For all Tid' note for note. Four Germans and one talentless blonde byrd (who is obviously a member of the band for physical reasons only - her five seconds of vocals on the album are horrendous) who could go toe to toe with the Backstreet Boys in coming up with "black metal"!

With ear-piercing keyboards that are so up front that with the wrong stereo you'll hear nothing BUT synth, fans of the first Covenant LP will LOVE this rankled, pseudo-metal joke of an album. Realistically, "Celephais" is almost a clear clone of "In Times Before the Light", right down to the annoying atmosphere, church music style keyboards riffs (this album is probably played in some churches along the Covenant one) and sleep inducing vocals.

The band sends out a hail to a "Big Penis" in their thanks list (really!). Makes you wonder....
