Sheer, scary, superfast black metal with a few slow moments. Sparse vocals, high end, thin sound on this Autumn 1998 demo. Very clear production but low-budget (cost effective?) as occasionally when an instrument (ie. acoustic break) should be faded, it disappears, kind of lopped off like a muslim's hand when caught stealing. Not a complaint mind you, as it adds to the atmosphere of this cult metal-sounding release. Fans of Bathory (up til Blood Fire Death), Carpathian Forest (Black Shining Leather), and Dark Throne should get a hold of this bleak 42 minute tape.

One of the last tracks has a riff which reminds me of something off Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana" (and no, not The Fortune which everyone uses), so the musicianship is excellent, although hard to tell through the high speed riffing.

1.Introduction/The Gate 5:05
2.My Darkness in the Enchanted Forest 4:53
3.Bloodred Moon, Satan 4:57
4.In the Burning Hatred 6:01
5.Shadowcastle Lord 3:49
6.Winterland 6:30
7.Sword 5:02
8.The Praise for Sunset and War 5:47

This tape is meant only for zines, labels, and comp tapes, but try writing them anyway.
