France's Gorgon are one of those solid bands like Deceased who sometimes let their influences show. This album reminds me of Bathory but if the guitarists from Destruction and Kreator were playing it cleaner in their own evil, combined style. The band keeps a tight sound. Great mid tempo parts, especially in the title track, and Call From Unknown Depths.

Keyboards in metal is always a hit or miss thing, but when acts like Gorgon inject them at the right moments, I can't complain. Enjoyable Black thrash metal.
