Black metal from the heart of Texas. Evil vocals blasting throughout all seven tunez on, "Ancient Gods of Battles Past". "Infinite Twilight" is an instrumental with synths and piano, very beautiful. Piano leads us into the next song, "Dawn of the Blackest Sun", "Writhe in Vengeance", "For Those Who Died...", "Desolation and War", & "Ancient Gods of Battles Past", mid-high paced black metal, keyboards are used, but not overdone, as in some suck-ass bands like Mystic Circle. An instrumental outro, "Journey's End", has a wonderful blending of piano, acoustic guitar, and great solo work by the lead guitarist. OF The Fallen is one of the best black metal bands I've heard from the states-definitely get, "Ancient Gods of Battles Past". My only complaint was the cover, it should have had some devilish artwork, instead of a picture of the band.
