The "comeback" recording of NME is quite old now, and it seems to have gotten very little circulation. Both re-recorded old songs and new songs presented. While these new versions of the old songs (including "Lethal Dose", "Acid Reign", "Evil Dead", etc) aren't that bad (minus the vocals), they sound too "modernized" to me. The new NME material, however, sounds more like hardcore than anything else. The vocals are in a "shouted" style that reminds me of pantera, and the music also seems influenced a bit from them too. Even so, the early VENOM influence is still present, so they haven't totally strayed from their roots. Still, this will probably get no further listens...
