Ragnarok
Diabolical Age 2000
[Head Not Found]

From time to time it's good to receive a swift kick in the nuts, and Ragnarok often enough is the band to do it (albeit with a spiked boot).

While GUARANTEED to get boring if played more than twice, Diabolical Age is nonetheless an ok album, suitable for when one is in that brainless violent mood. Not progressing much from their sophomore release 'Arising Realm', Ragnarok still deliver that brutal sound while not infecting themselves with any death metal influences.

The songs are fast and aggressive, and the riffs are somewhat morbidly catchy. This is definitely not an album that will make you want to cry, or dance around like a butterfly.

This is a straight-forward mindless satanic album with very little ingenuity, but is still more enjoyable than the similar sounding bands that are out there.

To top off the album we get a totally tame 6 minute piano arrangement, which might make you want to cry, or dance around like a butterfly.
