Raw, brutal, in the old Norwegian vein, and completely fucking boring. Tsjuder play the type of music where you can fall off your back porch and land on ten more bands that sound exactly the same, except the vocals are higher and more annoying than usual even. I don't understand the hype around these guys at all given that they are basically ripping off early Gorgoroth and Darkthrone to the extreme (and to a lesser extent Marduk), setting aside some heavier (dull and monotonous) guitar lines and faster drumming (which isn't too bad, but who really cares at this point anyway). There's absolutely nothing evil about Atum Nocturnem whatsoever and this is the style of music which has convoluted the vast majority of today's black metal into complete bullshit.
When are bands going to realize that it takes more than playing at hyperspeed blitzkrieg mach 5 to produce something worthwhile?
