Dark Angel
We Have Arrived
[Axe Killer]

Dark Angel, a name known by many in the Metal world, started out on a small label way back in 84. The monumental thrash album “Darkness Descends” followed in 86. After the departure of Don Doty, Dark Angel released a few more albums, all of, which are great as well, just not up to par with the first 2.

“We have arrived” is one of those treasures a person may happen to stumble upon while looking for some good old Thrash. While not Dark Angel’s best work, this album is still a classic in its own way. Dark Angel seems to draw a little bit of influence from Slayer, and perhaps “Kill Em All” era Metallica. Doty’s vocals are recognizable, and the twin guitars are also in place. “We Have Arrived” is not as fast as “Darkness Descends” but it still has a lot to offer for a Speed Metal and Thrash Metal freak.

Personally, I had only a small bit of difficulty acquiring this CD, but if any of the readers can’t seem to get there hands on it, let me know and ill send you a burn.
