War Hammer records... a label created by former members of that cult band ! They released this CD around mid-2001. This label just existed for a couple of weeks, the time needed to sell the 1000 copies of this limited-edition CD and the 1000 ones of their other PROFANATICA release, "Live". Now the label is dead and you'll have to check everywhere to get this CD which isfor sure going to become a collector album very soon. It is not an ordinary shitty compilation CD, it contains the first two demos of the band, totally uncut (unlike many other CD that only offer a couple of tracks from each demo) plus the'91 "Weeping in Heaven" EP & the PROFANATICA tracks from the split CD w/ the Colombian death metal band MASACRE (originally out on Osmose Prods.), and finally unreleased tracks taken from an unreleased MLP called "The rape of virgin Mary", which was supposed to be out in '93, but the events prevented its release...

So here you have a real CD for the fans, not a compilation made by a label who wants to rip you off. It's a testimony of how raw could sound the first black metal band from the US, if you like that band you must get this CD now before it is out, otherwise bastards will sell them to you on Ebay for $ 100... The musical content ? Black / Death metal for maniacs of old bands (BEHERIT, BLASPHEMY, maybe SAMAEL), coming with a very good sound. PROFANATICA will always be an apocalyptic band whose members REALLY used to cut themselves before coming on stage to do their show...
