Ceratinly their best recording, this first LP is a pure masterpiece of pagan black metal. Even if they play such a style, ABIGOR tracks are quite fast, but very often they are cut by "atmospheric" parts which show you they don't want to copy the stupid Swedish bands who play ultra fast, brainless, common BM. The voice could be said influenced by the one of Varg Vikernes, but it's not as "tortured", it's more used in a "strident" way. Some of the tracks are REALLY dark and spread an atmosphere full of hatred (towards mankind), fear & despair. Just listen to the second track, "Kingdom of darkness", and you'll understand what I mean. Much better than the latest releases, unfortunately...
