Alastor
Hellward
[Barbarian Wrath]

Portugal's Alastor returns once again to blaspheme, rape, and destroy in the name of old-school thrash! About the only thing that's changed since their first album, Crushing Christendom, is that the lyrics are all in Portuguese. It's still all about the classic days of thrash when it was basically the same as death metal and black metal. Fast-chugging riffs and galloping riffs abound, topped off with those semi-classical-but-out-of-control solos like the H-team used to use all the time. If you don't get your head banging automatically to songs like "Ataque Final Do Inferno" or "Serva De Satanas" then you're either gay or just have no neck! Also included is a killer cover of Iron Angel's "Sinner". Thrash-heads will love this as much as the black metal crowd. BUY OR DIE!
