On the 9th day of the 9th month of the year 99, DECAYED played a live gig and to celebrate this very special day they decided, together with "Mad Max" Varnier (from the French killer label Impaler of Trendies) to release this live tape. So there are on this live recording the 4 best DECAYED songs, caught live with a very good sound : "Darkness falls", "Pagan winds return", "Land of eternal torment" & "Behold the wrath". No need to comment these songs, you probably know them already ! In addition to these live tracks, there are 3 other tracks on the tape. The first one is called "Sarges" and it is the very first song ever recorded by the band, in August of 1990. Well, actually it's just a riff ! But a very good "rock'n'roll" riff played here (this was certainly recorded around the year 2000)witha ll the power of DECAYED's metal. Thes second track ("Devil's rock") is another track from the year 1990 this time from November of 1990), in the same vein, when the band was known as DECAY and not DECAYED. And finally, the last track of the tape is called "Inverted" and it's just a version of "Behold the wrath" played backwards on 33 RPM whereas it should be played on 45 RPM !! If you can record it on your computer then play it backward you will clearly hear it's just a "joke track" ! I highly recommend you this tape ! Impaler of Trendies & DECAYED rule !!!!
