Lord Wind
Forgotten Songs
[Full Moon]

LORD WIND is the dark folk/pagan ambient project of Rob Darken from GRAVELAND. "Forgotten songs" is the first album, it presents 11 tracks of pagan/folk (slavonic) stuff inspired by the old music of the Celts and other people from Ancient Europe. Some tracks may appear "approximative" but this reinforces their strong atmospheres. Very dark and dedicated to the soul of these gone people, these "Forgotten songs" immediately take you to ancient times, when battlefields were sacred places and when mysterious rites were performed to honour gods of battles and Nature. This could be a pefect soundtrack for a report about witches and old magical rites, as all songs are very deep and well-structured. This is a great CD that you must get if you like pagan metal or epic metal in general, and if you're into the Polish BM scene (THUNDERBOLT, GRAVELAND, SACRILEGIUM, GONTYNA KRY...) you certainly already have it...
