Supposedly being the last release ever by Blakk Holokaust Prods, this CD offers 2 VLAD TEPES demos plus one song taken from the 1995 compilation tape
"Project BLACK LEGIONS".
The first 6 tracks are the "the black legions" 1995 demo which contains only cover versions by VLAD TEPES of songs written by the BLACK LEGIONS : MUTIILATION (3 songs including a French version of "Transylvania") BELKETRE (2 songs) BRENORITVREZORKRE (1 track). They come with a decent sound quality and it'a a real pleasure listening to these old malefic songs played by such a great band by VLAD TEPES (I'd give my right hand to hear them cover MAYHEM's "The freezing moon").
The second recording is the 1995 demo "Dans notre chute", which was originally the advance demo songs for the split with TORGEIST. So there are the 5 songs from the split Cd plus to mre tracks that later on remained unused on the split CD. Finally the last title is the "Massacre song from the devastated lands" track taken from the 1995 compilation tape, it features both members of VLAD TEPES plus Vordb from BELKETRE.
I guess with all the CDs released by Blakk Holokaust, 90% of VLAD TEPES demo material is now avilable, apart maybe from the "Morte Lune" and "Vlad Tepes" demos, which remain fucking difficult to get with a correct sound.
In average, the sound quality of this recording is not that good as you can clearly hear the recordings don't come from the original tapes or some first generation dubs. But you won't care if you already know VLAD TEPES and the BLACK LEGIONS in general, and anyway if you don''t like this kind of sound or black metal fuck off and leave the scene cos this is the true root of evil.
