This is the first act of the French horde ARKHON INFAUSTUS featuring a former member of OSCULUM INFAME (Arkhon Drac Vortigern aka Drac Werewolf in O.I.). I think it's really bad this MCD is limited to only 666 copies as it's a very good release. It is in fact the re-issue of the 1997 demo, and presents some satanic black/death metal, very efficient, with harsh vocals (if you know those of OSCULUM INFAME's "Dor-Nu-Fauglith" you see what I mean) and raw-produced (but very clear and listenable) sound that makes you feel this is an EVIL recording, dedicated to Satanism in its most primitive form. The only problem is that it's a MCD and it's not very long (4 tracks - approx. 20 minutes). Together with their 7" out on 2000 through SPK, this is their best release for sure, unlike the recent CD out on Osmose Prods. Recommended.
