The first album was fantastic. I’m glad these guys are going the distance.

    1. This one sounds like it may hold together a bit more, and show off more of the direction they always wanted to take.

Where should I start with this band? Is there anyway you guys can update the https://www.deathmetal.org/metal/ directory, for example this band is not there along others you guys frequently recommend.

    1. T Malm says:

Perhaps their only album would be a good start.

Good point, sorry I didn’t make the proper research before leaving a comment

    2. This will happen at some point, in some form, but for now, probably not there. Sorry, but stick with us and we’ll get there eventually.

Hello, I’m T Malm and I’m here to tell you about the ANUS. There’s been an terrible famine in the region of Internet Metal Criticism over the last two decades. Many were reduced to consuming mindless shillery and surface level idiocy, leading to vast quantities of mediocre garbage being praised as transcendental art. One of the only bastions of sanity left in this trying time was the ANUS. However, in recent years, due to lack of THC, the ANUS has gone silent (aside from some news blurbs and the occasional tobacco review). If you were to contribute just one dollar to Brett’s weed fund, we could get some new DLA reviews in 2025. Suffering metal fags everywhere need your help!

        1. Good Unlord. How low we have sunk.

      2. 66 says:

Thanks Brett, I will be frequently checking

  3. Metal Mystic says:

Sounds quite promising despite only showcasing one melodic theme. I am intrigued by the move to a more martial direction compared to Stormkult’s cave-dwelling occultism. Stormkult was easily one of the top 3 albums of the 2010s, and I have an expectation this will be the first release of the decade that is truly worthy of praise.

  4. Persiles. says:

From what I have seen, ir seems that two of the original 3 members have left the band, now being two members from sammath, which somehow explains the change un the sound. Looking to Heat the whole album ando see if It holds Up.
