Addict in denial Abbath Doom Occulta has previewed a new track with Metal Hammer from his solo project, Abbath. Winter Bane “…comes with many of the qualities that are the essence of this band: epic, honest, powerful, and a heavy headbanger.” Surely many neck vertebrae will be dislocated by this radio pop for nasal decongestants attempt, but many more by decades-old Immortal material:

Brett once said bands return to their influences when they run out of ideas/inspiration. And that is exactly what is going on here, in a bad way. This is dad rock dressed up in a cheap black metal costume from Walmart.
Unfortunately Abbath had very different influences from Demonaz as we know.

Hi. I just noticed the death man lutist has a mask hanging from the elbow.
This is lazier than Abbath’s drumming on Circling Above in Time Before Time.
and Abbath was just speeding up the tape. This guy in the Knights of Nee mask isn’t.
