Another one of those nice 1980s American adjunct beers, Karbach Crawford Bock tastes like old school Budweiser complete with faint overtones of squash decay and vinegar bitterness, but mostly a sweetness and easy of consumption that makes it hard to choke down like Coke or Sprite.
This brewery continues to impress me, and technically, this is a perfectly fine beer, but it does not meet my flavor profile needs. It tastes too much like fermenting vegetation and a heap of sugar for me to want to drink another, but it is the perfect BBQ beer (or swingers’ party!).
The real question of any product is, “Would I buy it again if other options are available?” The sad honest answer is fuck no, I would go pick up a Hopadillo varient (there are 458 total) or maybe even some lite beer fare like Love Street. It is not bad but better options exist.
