As part of its ongoing world tour, Beherit introduces a live set recorded with audio quality in mind for those who want to hear a medley of standouts from this band presented in a compact form.
Featuring songs from its first two albums and epic late-career resurrection Engram, this live set eschews the muddy grinding sound of early Beherit for the clearer, higher-tuned approach used on more recent releases, but does credit to the old material with unrelenting streamlined versions of the classics.
After a lengthy ambient spectral sound intro, the set kicks off with a medley of older material, then detours into the newer, preserving the classic introduction to Drawing Down the Moon as well as the restless energy of that era.
From there, it takes an unrelenting tour through the Beherit songs that stick in memory for representing the dark churning of the human subconscious and tempestuous nature both, showcasing the perceptive versatility of this band and its embrace of the dark arts in their organic complexity.

Greetings from Ukraine.
Thank you for your website, Mr. Brett Stevens. I read it every day. My favorite metal album is Cryptopsy None So Vile.
The communists are preparing (according to my information, at least until May 27) to create hell on earth.
First, they will blow up the Statue of Liberty and blame “Islamic extremists.” Then they will start a war with Iran. And then with China. There will be a nuclear war. They will also blow up nuclear torpedoes, creating giant waves. They will release all known viruses.
Then they will create something like a mixture of Nazi Germany and the USSR.
They are maniacs who worship a castrated “god” called Yahweh.
But in the end, the true God will win.
I hope that you are in a safe place and that you will be fine.
Sincerely, Oleh.
I would buy a 24 case for anyone who blows up the Statue of Liberty. Make it two cases if they nuke NYC.
Three if they get SF too
how short are all you guys
Went liquid, waiting for the market correction.
Hard to believe this material is thirty years old now. Beherit was ignored, then celebrated, and now is back to fading away b/c newer fans have no idea what the classics were.
This sounds clear and full, I’m pleasantly surprised!
Yeah whoaw. Black metal live albums have come a long way since Live in Leipzig.
Brett, you should review Avzhias new LP.
