Darkthrone - Ravishing Grimness

Production:

Review: Darkthrone have lost their passion and gone to a formula using the mid-paced material influenced by first-generation black metal (Celtic Frost, Bathory) in an almost rocklike style with simple mood shifts and Disneyesque symbolism in tone. While this may be the same band that put out epic and experimental works, this album is worth avoiding as it is everything they once were made into a pure product, where there is no variation or organic texture, in the same way a McDonald's "fish patty" once came from a creature that was not square and of a uniform texture.
