Tomas Nyqvist, the founder of legendary Swedish label No Fashion Records and the Putrefaction Magazine zine, was interviewed by Bardo Methodology. Tomas talks about his zine and label, the careers of Morbid, Mayhem, Merciless, Dissection, and Katatonia, and how the infamous Stockholm record store House of Kicks screwed them all over. A book compilation of Putrefaction Magazine is scheduled for 2017 too.

Interesting read, not the least because it confirms (sort of) some suspicions about the post-1991 Mayhem trainwreck I already had. There’s also a link to a mayhem rehtape (one has to wonder how old terms reappear them moment they’re needed again) a studio version of Freezing Moon w/ Dead on vocals (IMHO, the soundboard recording I know beats both of them on quality).

May or may not be a historic person[*], but a Hollywood movie without romance/ sex is an Unding[**]. The general existence of »black metal groupies« is probable (by and large, women are exactly as intelligent/ stupid men, so, whatever some men consider interesting will be interesting to some women, too) and also documented,
