Erick Shute, the vocalist on brutal death metal band Pyrexia‘s last two albums, has been arrested in Pennsylvania today after supposedly murdering three outside of West Virginia’s Cacapon Resort State Park.

It seems this band loves to hire criminals. I remember the black guy Wallace Milton who sang for Internal Bleeding and was briefly the vocalist for Pyrexia sang for them was arrested for rape or some crazy shit like that. I guess this says a lot about the band members and who they roll with.
Wallace did get arrested, but that was long after he was in IB or Pyrexia, but, funny you should mention him – one of the reasons we threw him out of IB was because he pulled a knife on our guitarist; among other transgrsssions.
NY had some great bands, yet interestingly both NYHC and NYDM devolved into tuff guy HC and br00tal deathmetal respectively, that we know today, both which epitomise thuggish behaviour.
What a ridiculous newspaper. I wouldn’t be surprised if it turns out the guy actually shot them using a revolver; I’ve seen it happen before.
