Interview with Nidhogg of Sort Vokter, Ildjarn-Nidhogg and Nidhogg

History reveals little about Nidhogg, the musician known for his contributions to Ildjarn, Sort Vokter and Ildjarn–Nidhogg. These projects, while initially rejected by an increasingly faddish black metal “scene,” quickly gained fans for their use of elegant short melodies within ambient songs of abrasive noise fused with aggressive Oi rhythms and black metal riffs.

    Thank you for this.

    Nidhogg is underpraised.

Nidhogg if you are reading this, for some of us you are an idol. For others you are an inspiration. For yet others you are a partner to Vaer – who is an idol – and a secondary but special contributor.

Lastly, to a very few of us, you are a friend. Please do not stop making music, there is beauty in your heart and soul that needs to be expressed. Whether it is synth or metal or w/e. Please!

Also I at least prefer Sort Vokter to most Ildjarn releases.
