Imagine a nice grapefruit-juice IPA but poured into a Pabst Blue Ribbon. There. That is the review. Oh fine, we will add more: it has a nice earthy flavor, good bitterness, excellent alcohol.
On the whole, this is an entirely pleasant beer, but it keeps one foot in the world of American adjunct style beers where grain fermentation rises to the top like a corpse in a water trap. But the citrus side is great.
Its strength really is its consistency, which means that this beer tastes about the same top-to-bottom, and the high quality of ingredients. Once the bog beer taste recedes, you have a nice bitter IPA to spend some time with.
