Asphyx 1989 “Crush the Cenotaph” Demo Sees Re-Issue via Ten Inches of DeathCult

Xtreem Music has struck again by selecting the 1989 Asphyx demo “Crush the Cenotaph” as one of their upcoming Ten Inches of DeathCult series re-releases.

The label has released the following statement:

Another mythical band within the Dutch Death Metal scene from the late 80s and early 90s, is ASPHYX, who released four demos and a 7″EP before their debut album in 1991. For us, their third demo from ’89, “Crush the Cenotaph,” represents one of the first incarnations of rotten Death Metal with Doom hints, and it is, without a doubt, the best of their demos, the one that made them known within the underground and led them to join Century Media, a label they have remained on since then.

This 10″ release will include the original cover art of the demo, and also flyers, show posters and photos from that time, as well as liner notes from Eric Daniels himself.

Pre-orders are scheduled for 03/07/2020 due out 18/08/2020
