Varg Vikernes uploaded another black metal history video to his ThuleanPerspective Youtube channel. In A Fatal Acquaintance (Euronymous, April 1991 – August 1993), the Burzum creator summarizes his relationship with Euronymous prior to their fatal fight on August 10th, 1993. Varg explains how the Mayhem guitarist was a fat Communist who stole the money used to preorder Burzum records and sunk it into his money pit Helvete record shop in Oslo.

Another one?
JEESUS you guys have a raging erection for VV.
The only erections here are for that cute Asian chick in the crop top.
Mayhem bellyshirts are so kawaii.
Euronymouse was just tsundere for Vargy, but he was too dense to realise this.
Either Ways of Bore didn’t sell well or he’s building hype for another flop.
Goats N’ Stuff
While people may consider »fat communists« personally disgusting, that’s not actionable and not particularly interesting on its own.
Apart from that: The second video is more interesting because there’s a notable drift between earlier writings available on the Burzum web site and this video (at least the version I watched yesterday): At least as of now (and ever since I read it first), the text available at
http://www.burzum.org/eng/library/a_burzum_story02.shtml
is generally sympathetic towards the Blackthorn guy (Snorre W. Ruch) who is depicted as someone who inadvertently got himself into trouble (“he got 8 years for doing absolutely nothing”) by stupidly trying to save his ass because other people talked him into that. The video calls him “a mental case”, no further details.
And there’s another: The story about the pre-order money for some Burzum album going to Euronymous who used it to pay some unrelated debts instead of sending out the stuff has a notable hole. What happened with that? It’s somewhat inconceivable that the people who sent the money just accepted that it was gone. Also, while the video asserts that Vikernes had to abandon the operations of his own label after he came out of prison and was thus forced to enter into a business relation with Asareth, leading to the pre-order money issue, the text say:
When I got out from prison I was pretty disillusioned by all that had happened in the media, and the police had made such a mess for me when they had their raid in my apartment that it was hard to run Cymophane like I had planned to. At the same time DSP had (possibly because of the media stunt) gotten a distribution deal with a company in Oslo, and could start printing and selling DSP records again.
Euronymous had made a complete fool of himself by closing down the shop, and most of us agreed that he was a damn wimp and an idiot. I was angry at him for not taking advantage of the situation, which was why I had done that silly interview in the first place, and I didn’t want anything more to do with him. There was no point in dealing with him. Instead I got a deal with a distribution company in Oslo for Cymophane, and continued on my own.
You have very poor comprehension skills.
THere is no contradiction here.
There’s a direct contradiction between the video and the text regarding collaboration between Vikernes and Asareth after the former was released from prison (for the first time): The video described such a collaboration which lead to “money for pre-orders” being embezzled. The text doesn’t mention this at all and instead states that Vikernes “continued on this own”.
If these two statements can somehow but integrated in one statement, please feel free to explain how.
Vikernes did carry on alone, after trying to co-operate with Aarseth for a short time.
The latter detail can be ommitted.
I can also imagine an additional paragraph talking about that being added to the text, however, as the matter still stands, it ain’t there (2016/09/30, 14:07 BST).
It’s not a contradiction to say that I took a shit after going to the store, and later that I went to the store, had a phone call, and then took a shit.
The contradiction is (how difficult can this be?) [paraphrased] “When I came out of prison, I couldn’t continue my own label because of the mayhem caused by the police raid, hence, I engaged with Asareth again because he had meanwhile gotten a distribution deal and could thus continue his operations AND THEN ….” versus “After coming out of prison, moving forward was diffcult because of the police raid. Euronymous had meanwhile gotten … I didn’t want anything to do with him so I continued on my own”.
As I (and you) already wrote, it’s possible to merge these two statements to make the contradiction “Euronymous and then” vs “no more Euronymous” go away. The text even suggests an omission because why’s the DSP deal mentioned at all? But as neither you nor I have firsthand experience of any of this, that’s conjecture. As I’m not a US university clown with a political axe to grind, I’m not going to jump to the conclusion that “He must be hiding something !!!1”. But I’m not going to jump to the conclusion that he’s simply misremembering things either.
You guys…

Ludvig doesn’t come accross as an autist and I’m probably one. So f***ing what?
So Roger is more autistic than either of you and he wanted to give you the benefit of his years of experience in the field
tell me more black metal stories uncle varg
You all do realise that all those petty details about the early days are just a poor man’s version of what you’ll hear about the gangsta rap scene, same petty concerns and all, no “transcending” around here.
Yeah, who gives a fuck, though if anyone believes in body language shit, Varg is constantly looking up and left which would mean he’s making things up.
His weird smacking he does before every sentence is fucking annoying. that aside I like that he feels no need to act “evil” like poofy buttrockere of Watain, he seems like a reasonable intelligent person.
In retrospect, Euronymous was right about Hellhammer and Necrobutcher…
When Varg’s daughter turns into a SJW feminist with a black boyfriend, I’m gonna lols.
Coreect me if Im wrong, but doesn’t he have a bastard back in Norway?
JFTR: There are meanwhile two more of these, one about “church of satan & black metal dress codes” and one about “Asareth’s nefarious, commercial motives for acting as he did” (towards other bands) with some interesting assertions eg “commercial success of $music measure of quality”.
