That’s not anything unique or groundbreaking. Plenty of prog rock bands have used equations for syncopation and rhythmic usage.
Tool used the fibonacci sequence on their album “Lateralus” back in 2001. They recorded the album in ’98 or ’99. I’m sure ‘ole Thom stole or “borrowed” that idea to use equations as rhythm from Tool.
Still and all, Radiohead is a good band.
