Rainbow Releases Two New Songs

Rainbow has just released two new recording songs for the first time in over two decades. “Land of Hope and Glory” is  Ritchie Blackmore reworking the traditional British song and the band also rerecorded their 1981 glam rock song “I Surrender” with their current vocalist, Ronnie Romero.

Ritchie Blackmore reformed Rainbow last year to tour as I guess not many people were willing to pay to hear him play folk and early modern period music live. Now it appears he is gearing up to record a new mediocre album as a product to promote on tour like every other band attempting a comeback does. Rainbow will probably give their fans a pastiche of their older 70s material that their fans will toss after a few listens.
