Arghoslent Working on New Material

Arghoslent are working on new material according to their website. Hopefully the “melodic death metal” band’s extended downtime has allowed them to refine their material into something not merely a collection of riffs and heavy metal wank like their last few records.

Pogrom and Holocausto are working on new music and lyrics, and have been for a few years. The band will enter the studio once the time is right (quality material & logistics).

hey thanks for the video, ive never seen a live performance from these guys. I spent a portion of Friday listening to a couple of their albums, great stuff. I dont care what their views are these guys hammer out quality music.

“heavy metal wank like their last few records” So you’re saying that listening to Arghoslent is good when you’re wanking to interracial porn?

  3. Galloping Through the Battle Ruins impressed me at first, but didn’t get better with repeated listens.
It’s respectable, but not as good as Bathory.

    1. Morbideathscream says:

Very few bands approach the awesomeness of Bathory. Galloping is a good album, but must be in a certain mood to listen to it. I agree with the bands’ ideology, but there’s better bands out there. I remember being sorely disappointed when I listened to incorrigible bigotry years ago. If I want to bash some skulls in I’ll listen to Angry Aryans or Aggravated Assault. RAC/hatecore type shit.

      1. the George Zimmerman EP says:

“Aggravated Assault” nice!!! haven’t seen them references in years.

Don’t forget Chaos88, Midtown Bootboys, Bound For Glory…

Love Arghoslent and it takes some fucking balls to make a return in this current political climate we live in.

    1. fuck yeah brother 14 words 88 problems but a bitch ain’t one

  5. Anthony says:

I think you need some downtime to refine your writing into something not resembling verbal diarrhea and word salad. Hornets of the Pogrom is probably the best death metal album of the 2000s. Stick to Incantation clones and pipe tobacco if all you’re going to do is rehash the same talking points about every band that isn’t Blaspherian.

    1. nocturnal squirter of cums says:

Poor Gelal. Greatest riffer of the late 90s/00s, yet hated by the normies cuz “muh wacism,” hated by anus because “not phrasal enough”

    2. Cynical says:

Hornets of the Pogrom isn’t death metal.

      1. Necronomeconomist says:

        try “blackened ‘Maiden”

insta-buy as soon as it’s out.

I still think this band is in the position to put out a magnum opus if they try. Most likely it will be another flawed but enjoyable piece of the confederate British-colonialist LARPer puzzle that is Arghoslent.

Demos are wonderful. Galloping is probably their best material but the guitar production is a bit soft.

Incorrigible shows the band losing the “DEATH METAL” part of “melodic death metal,” veers on ear-candy.

Hornets is rad musically but weird compressed production hurts my head. I hope they stop trying to imitate all the other “big metal bands” when producing this one.

  7. look i don’t mind so long as they don’t cover carnivore ever again

  8. harsh critiquer of vest patcheses says:

This is also good, metal needs bands like this, the more shunned and hated the better. Fuck I think I can feel metal becoming dangerous and upsetting again! This is fucking great!

    1. Spectacular Recidivizm says:

Is it like, you’re thrilled that you can scare parents, teachers, ‘n priests again?

      1. harsh critiquer of vest patcheses says:

Yes, it’s almost as if there is no more point in living anymore.

        1. Morbideathscream says:

I’ve been kinda feeling the same way as of late. Have always been hated and shunned by our shit society weather it’s been Jesus freaks or sjw’s. Fuck them all! I will rebel and reject the ideals of our Zionist ran society I will die before I bow down to those snakes. I will stand against the opinions of popular opinion and the ruling class. Unlike those punks pretending to be anarchists, we are fighting the system, is it more dangerous to wear a Graveland shirt or a black flag shirt?

          1. harsh critiquer of vest patcheses says:

Obama probably has a Black Flag bars tattoo. It sucks that the golden era of oldschool hardcore has become an embarrassing badge of coolness by a bunch of old losers telling the young “we invented yoooouuuuu!”

Going around wearing old hardcore shit is one of the gayest things you can do, band shirts are fucking tacky and look like shit trailer trash carnies from Little Rock Arkansas would wear. Tshirts were made to wear under dress shirts, you fucking slobby fucks. Tshirts with shit printed on them were made to make people walking billboards. That aside I’ll wear Graveland shit anyday.

          2. Rectal Insouciance says:

            You’re “fighting the system”.
            By… wearing Graveland t-shirts?

By HOW are you realer than the anarchopunks?

            1. One thing to keep in mind is that anarchopunk tshirts are non-controversial. They’re just the 1960s warmed over, and most people view the 60s as the birth of our current culture and society.

              1. Rainer Weikusat says:

T-shirts are generally non-controversial. A Graveland-shirt might upset J Random MetalSucks author but there aren’t many of these. Most people will ignore it. The intellectually more active ones will probably think that’s something like Amon Amarth or Suicide Silence.

                1. Among normal people, it is still normal and acceptable to proclaim that one likes Burzum or Graveland by wearing one of their shirts.
But there is a growing segment of the population to which this is not acceptable:

Unlike certain black metal, hardcore shirts are acceptable to almost every one, because the ideologies associated with them aren’t controversial.

                  1. Rainer Weikusat says:

Among normal people, it is still normal and acceptable to proclaim that one likes Burzum […] But there is a growing segment of the population to which this is not acceptable

                    Quote from Huff-Puff-piece:

Whether or not Kristian’s music is seen by the black metal scene as ground-breaking, the idea to promote it by wearing his t-shirt is rendered inappropriate due to his politics. I have no idea why anyone in their right mind, who isn’t a white supremacist, would wear a shirt that represents it.

As far as I know, Richard Wagner was a racist, an anti-semite and – as fervent German nationalist – certainly a white supremacist, too. The idea that people who like Wagner’s music (I don’t) must ‘really’ mean to declare their political support for any of this is hairbrained. The remainder of the article lives up to this.

I must also disagree with the assessment that Danko Jones is a rock band.

                    1. I remember Danko Jones from the 90s: the promo every metal station got and promptly turned into a frisbee. What a poseur and pretender. He would be happier in some rock band; he was like the metal version of Hootie and The Blowfish.

              2. Can you survive the blitzkrieg says:

Even funnier an anarchist shirt will have a splattered fetus or black n white Discharge style design with a graphic picture of a Muslim woman being stoned to death (with some line like Male Dumbinance?!), and it won’t cause nearly as much grief and panic and possibly debilitating shock as a simple Graveland logo (whether accompanied by truck stop commemorative collecter plates of Indians and Wolves style Viking art or not)

  9. Raper of SJWs says:

The masters will finally return!! No one in this day and age can write better riffs than them. All 3 albums are some of the finest moments in metal and I hope the lyrics will be even more offensive. The whole immigration thing just scream some well written bigotry directed to those inferior apelike creatures.

    1. Rainer Weikusat says:

hose inferior apelike creatures […] THEIR CRIME IS GENETIC!

      People suck.

      1. Time to take the bell curve at face value.
