“¡Qué ingeniosos y hábiles tuvieron que ser los dioses para engañarnos!
Rápidos, estrepitosos y furtivos,
Hablando siempre en su lengua extraña.
¡Qué incierta era su música, qué incierto su desconsuelo!
¿Cómo fue que nos engañaron y olvidamos su presencia?”

  1. thomasw says:

Very, very interested to hear this 3rd LP.

  2. Vigilance says:

Was the cover art drawn with crayons?

    1. Billy Foss says:

      It appears so.

    2. C.M. says:

      Looks like watercolor too.

I think the same artist has done every cover for the band, because the “Condor” logo is drawn in with the rest of the art rather than just pasted on top of it. If I compare my Duin and Nadia CDs side-by-side I can tell that the logos look a little different on either cover.

      1. Degtyarov says:

Nadia and Duin had a different artist than this one.

        1. C.M. says:

You’re right, I looked in the booklet for credits after posting this.

          :P

      2. Billy Foss says:

You’re right. I was being facetious before. You can even see the colors bleeding along the sky and grass. I like the handmade logo, at first it seems rather amateurish by comparison to what we’ve come to expect, but the wavering flaws give it a much needed human touch.

        1. C.M. says:

Agreed. I also like that the artists apply some nice design to the album title too. Looks much better than just digitally stamping some rigid typeface over the art.

  3. Can you survive the blitzkrieg says:

This out of the ordinary band has been a hard sale for me but I also notice their merits in the unique approach. A “different” metal band that isn’t gimmick, what a novelty!

  4. HH says:

    any tracks available?

  5. i’m fuckin stoked on this dudes

i actually liked duin but here’s hoping they surpass it

    1. They do, and noticeably so.
Though perhaps not in the direction that frequenters of DMU might prefer.

  6. Marc Defranco says:

Looking forward to this and I really like the art used for their albums.

  7. Degtyarov says:

The album is pretty amazing. ‘Roncesvalles’ is quite simply one of the best songs of the year so far.

    1. David Rosales says:

A lean towards the title track.

  8. thomasw says:

For the entire LP, we have to wait until Oct.12th; but a track is now available on BC:>
