Rob Halford Insists Judas Priest’s Upcoming Album “Is Some Of Our Best Work”

“This is some of our best work — without a doubt.” said Rob Halford about Judas Priest’s upcoming album Firepower.

Yeah right. The band who gave us Nostradamus and Redeemer of Souls will certainly not live up to Sad Wings of Destiny and Stained Class. Judas Priest surprised Hessians before with the speed metal Painkiller after a mediocre eighties run. However with K.K. Downing departed, the chance of the band making anything worth purchasing is rather slim.

I thought Maarat was gone? So obvious this Psalmanazar guy is an alt ID.

    1. Titus Pullo says:

George submitted the news to Maarat so he gets credit. That’s how the DMU news blurbs work.

  2. Surjje says:

For anyone not in the know on the aliases:

    Daniel/George/Titus

    Brett/Conservationist

    Prozak/Crow/Ledney/weev

    Imposition/Roger/wild

    Bloodworth/Rosales

    1. Corrector says:

A lot of those are wrong. Prozak isn’t Crow, Ledney, or weev, for instance.

    2. Titus Pullo says:

You’re dead wrong there about ’em boy.

    3. Varg's Lada says:

      Brett is Prozak.

    4. Incessant Ballerism says:

      Brett Stevens was Prozac.

      1. Mythic Imagination says:

Pretty sure those are all wrong.

  3. Surjje says:

    Theyre all same name lmao

  4. neutronhammer says:

Who are they trying to kid? it’s aggravating to be honest, do they have child support to pay? Is Rob into collecting endangered animals that no one knows of? just do the honorable thing and retire goddammit.

He has to fund his cock addiction somehow.

  5. Hector Pilar (Extreme Chilean Metal) says:

They are actually better without KK Downing. \m/

  6. national geographic nipples says:

Painkiller blows, it’s the definition of a bells & whistles album. Even Defenders of the Faith is better despite its obvious vintage because it’s so much more honest

    1. Daniel says:

This could be JP’s greatest album yet. Will I take shit and accusations from people? No. Nor will I support my friends who are being attacked by assholes on the internet. I will attempt to have a dialogue and smooth things over. I will do so as calmly and respectfully as I can, even if they are not respectful to me (or my friends), because that is how I operate. I try to be the damned nicest person possible, even when assholes do not deserve it. If they continue to be aggressive, I block them or ignore them. However, I don’t rise to the bait, because I know it really won’t solve anything. PEACE.

  7. HH says:

nice try Rob, but you’ll never be as gay as Summoning
