That Blood Libel album is absolute garbage. Sub-par pop music by losers marketed as “black metal” for other losers.
Hey Jude, don’t make it bad, take a sad song, and make it better
Sammath is too good (though not great) to be labelled “war metal” (aka gimmicky tranny raping noise), it’s more like war-themed black metal, whatever the fuck that might mean, but still a better description.
War metal has gotten a bad name now, true, but back in the days of Zyklon-B, Blasphemy, Impaled Nazarene, and even the second Angelcorpse album, it had some appeal. It would be hard to knock Deathsiege for being war metal with grind and death metal influences either.
