Death Metal Underground contributor Max Bloodworth has edited, mixed, and mastered the cassette tapes of the Peckerwood Boys’ review of Metallica’s Hardwired… to Self-Destruct for our loyal readers enjoyment.
Many lines were edited our and some alternate takes used for your entertainment. The audio quality isn’t the best due to the review being recorded on a Magnavox boombox in a garage south of the Mason-Dixon line. Nevertheless, listeners may enjoy the Budweiser and Bud Light fueled ramblings providing a unique insight into Metallica’s continuing massive popularity despite having pumped out awfully boring music for decades. Hardwired… to Self-Destruct is worse than Load and Reload but the Peckerwoods Boys ate it up like their cousin Sally at a pig picking.
