From the early days of death metal, a hybrid of Sarcofago and Deicide adds its own flavor through a modern death metal style internal dialogue of riffs producing moments of great clarity from seemingly random visions of darkness.
The best death metal does this of course: it takes a few fragments of a scene, turns them into a living narrative, then has them fight it out and become a churning conflict that resolves itself not through human morality but supremacy of higher relevance to the end result.
While the percussion follows more of a European style akin to that of proto-underground bands, guitars clearly aspire to an Incantation or Immolation style of protracted, contorted riffs that give these demos a resonant feral obscurity.

Brett, do you hear similarities between Godflesh and Anacrusis? Pure in particular reminds me of them.
Definitely the best Diabolus of all the various Diabolus’s.
And there have been many since then… a Discogs search alone is hilarious, but if you go to bandcamp, the Diabolus onslaught is overwhelming.
Underground metal is the only place you will find such incredible writing that in this case I’m pretty sure was laid down in a bedroom. I’d like to hear these songs redone with louder production, a handful of tweaks and, umm, different drumming.
I hear alot of Averse Sefira in this.

How not to turn into a fat fuck when drinking:
-Long walks, hiking or sprinting. A two hour walk can burn as much as 800 calories depending on speed and weight.
-Drink half a bottle of Vodka instead of whole one (50 CL), as it will get the job done just fine. A 7/10 buzz is good enough.
-Drink slow to avoid spike buzzes that come and go too fast.
-Drink a ton of water in-between and afterwards so the body doesn’t get bloated by storing excess liquid out of self-preservation
