Desecresy Announces New Album, Releases Single “Rivers of the Nether Realm”

Longtime favorite around here Desecresy, who pair old school death metal with melodic but apocalyptic atmospheric styles, has released a single “Rivers of the Nether Realm” from their upcoming seventh full-length album Unveil in the Abyss to be released on April 19 via Xtreem Music.

Desecresy had been releasing single tracks via YouTube but they have since vanished, leading to speculation that they have been repurposed for the upcoming LP.

Tracklist

1. Rivers of the Nether Realm
2. Echo Beyond Time
3. Cult of Troglodytes
4. Staring of the Infinity
5. Cataclysmic Phenomena
6. Necrolevitation
7. Dissolve Through Obscure Worlds

Communiqué

DESECRESY is a one-man band; Tommy Grönqvist has always written all the music and played all the instruments until his fifth album where he also took the vocal duties, becoming even more guttural. The style of DESECRESY remains as always, a dark, putrid, eerie and hypnotic Death Metal with Doom touches, reminiscent of bands like BOLT THROWER, INCANTATION, RIPPIKOULU, MYTHIC, ABHORRENCE (fin), ROTTREVORE.

  1. molestor says:

Hell yes! The only current death metal band consistently putting out strong material.

    1. That is sadly the state of affairs, I believe.

    2. maggot says:

slipknot also has been putting killer death metal records dude

      1. Their uncles have been putting fat cocks into their anuses for decades.

        1. Slamming Whinecore Prolaptic Raprock says:

          That’s a given

        2. Crilf says:

Probably not the uncles’ own fat cocks. I was sure Slipknot was 2nd wave black metal anyway.

          1. T Malm says:

so their uncles’ black friends’ cocks

      2. molestor says:

More of a rock/rap hybrid that band or nu-metal as we used to call it. Swiftly moved on from that stuff after my teenage years although I did give the first album a spin a few years ago for a bit of a laugh at what I was listening to back then but it ended up being more of a painful experience then comedic.

        1. Crilf says:

Your canceled and probably a Holocaust denier as well.

          1. molestor says:

just sayin’ they might’ve exaggerated a little

  2. BlackPhillip says:

Tommi is letting his Slugathor style riffing bleed through. I hope we’ll get more of that.

  3. T Malm says:

Yes! Keeping death metal on the operating table.

Although I don’t know why the fuck I would ever want to pre-order a digital album.

  4. Oh good, a death metal site with real death metal on it. This is rare.

  5. hardcore punk is experimental music says:

I love Desecresy, but why are they still putting out music? I really don’t need 5 hours of bolt thrower riffs with atmospheric noodles.

    1. you're going to die says:

I have a time machine if you want to go tell Michelangelo to stop doing his thing.

    2. Imagine a tabby cat with a horsecock the size of a Vienna says:

But how about 7 hours of it, now?
